About
Hi and thanks for visiting our website! We are Demie Moore and Dain Moore, a brother-sister team raising registered Spanish Mastiffs in extreme southwest VA, near the quaint little town of Big Stone Gap. We have helped our family raise puppies since 2006, when we had our first litter of Great Pyrenees. We had a male Pyrenees that guarded our yard and the children, and the female Pyrenees stayed with the goats in the field. Our family also began raising Newfoundlands in 2012 and we are still very involved in breeding quality Newfies. But when our Pyrenees both passed away of old age and we researched other livestock guardian breeds, we fell in love with the Spanish Mastiff. They respect boundaries very well, unlike Pyrenees, and their grooming is low maintenance due to their coarse, medium-length coat that doesn't typically mat up during shedding. They have a very noble, gentle temperament, are good with children and not aggressive with visitors, and are just beautiful, giant dogs. We're grateful to have them on the farm guarding sheep, cattle and chickens, and providing the opportunity to offer Spanish Mastiff puppies to others
that will enjoy and benefit from this regal breed. |
